the small little little things

I took my Circuit Analysis quiz today. I roughly already know how I fared. I flunked the 1st page and did well for the 2nd and 3rd pages. The 1st page is about some basic and minor knowledge of CKT and weighs 15 marks, the 2nd and 3rd pages are the main components and weighs 35 marks. I'm confident that I've gotton 35 marks.

35 marks is not bad, but is not excellent. To be the head and not the tail, 'not bad' is not enough, you got to be 'excellent'. As I have my quiet time and meditate upon the Word, I found that little little things make up big thing.

In the book of Deuteronomy, all the commandments and laws are listed. The laws are specific and detailed and seems minor. But I realised that they ARE important.

Lot is a righteous man, but he has greed, and thus God can use Abraham more than him. God says that Moses is faithful in all his house, but he doubted once and thus cannot enter the promised land. David is a mighty king, yet he fell into lust and murder.
These men are great, they accomplished much, but they did not do well in some small areas of their lives and thus fell short of their highest acheivements, their highest reward on earth. No wonder Pastor Robb Thompson said that there are things Pastor Kong can do which he himself can't!

Mention 'Guan Yu' to the chinese people and most will rever him as an extremely righteous and loyal man and a superb warrior. But he was unable to deal with his pride, and therefore he was delivered to his enemies.

I'll not only do well in the "main components", but also watch over minor areas of my life......
